Affiliate disclosure

Last updated:

NaughtyMate is free to read. We pay for it with affiliate links, and we want you to know exactly how that works.

How we earn

When you click some of the links on this site and then sign up or buy something on the other site, we may earn a commission from that site or from an affiliate network. It costs you nothing extra.

What this does not change

  • Scores and rankings. Every site is scored with the same six published criteria, and rankings follow scores only. Read how we rate.
  • What we write. We don't accept payment for a review, a score, a ranking or a placement, and a programme's payout is never part of the maths. We write the score before looking at what a programme pays.
  • Our warnings. A site with a good commission still gets a low score if the evidence says so, and we still tell you why.

Which sites we cover

We may give priority to sites that run affiliate programmes, because that is how this site is funded. That is a choice about what to review first, never about what we say. We also review sites that don't pay us anything.

Where you'll see this

  • Every review shows a short disclosure above the first affiliate link.
  • Affiliate links are marked as sponsored, so search engines know they are commercial.
  • The footer of every page carries a reminder.

When you leave our site

Once you click through to another site, you are on someone else's website, with its own terms, prices and privacy policy. Read them before you sign up or pay.
